Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Senior Motion Designer.  In this role, you will work closely with our Creative Director to support the VFX, museum design & 3D pipelines and contribute to a variety of challenging and visionary projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about design, animation, and storytelling, looking to grow their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and execution of visual effects and animation projects.

  • Support the VFX pipeline by handling technical tasks and contributing to creative problem-solving.

  • Collaborate with the senior creative team to conceptualize and execute design ideas.

  • Work on projects involving 3D modeling, texturing, and animation using software such as Blender.

  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create and refine visual assets, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

  • Contribute to storyboarding and concept development by taking a project brief and developing visual looks, styleframes, samples.

  • Then, be able to take the concept all the way to completion using a variety of 2D, 3D Animation, Compositing and Editing techniques for various projects.

  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.

  • Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Qualifications:

  • A solid understanding of design principles and a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficiency in 3D software (Blender preferred).

  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

  • Excellent storytelling abilities, with experience in storyboarding or concept development.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work in animation, VFX, or design.

  • A degree in animation, design, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Creating AV Experiences for museums.

  • Familiarity with virtual reality or interactive media.

  • Basic understanding of technical aspects of VFX & 3D pipelines.

  • Interest in historical or educational content is a plus.
