Impossible Escapes: Civil War

With a production timeline of less than ten months, Wide Awake Films researched, scripted, filmed, and edited this six-part streaming series for Curiosity Stream.

The production needs were steep: horses, ships, historical locations all over the country, the construction of a secret tunnel, and a cast of more than 100 – we gleefully accepted the challenge. Additionally, our VFX team built an 1860s-era steamship from scratch and reconstructed the infamous Libby Prison.
